Kris Wootan
Kris Wootan is a graduate of Montana State University with a B.A. in Secondary English Education. After graduating in 2010 he went to Thailand to teach English language for 2 years at a Rajabhat University in NahhonSawan, Thailand. In 2012, he went on hiatus back to America helping build up his family’s construction and property management companies. In 2015, he was contracted by Education First (EF) as an English language teacher and taught adults for 2 years in the Yayuncun area of Beijing. He deeply enjoyed his time spent living in the hutongs of Zhangzizhonglu; giving him a respect and understanding of Beijing life. Teaching English as a foreign language and being in the University atmosphere has become a passion for him as well as learning about new cultures and ways of living. Kris continues to develop himself as a language teacher and enjoys travelling and immersing himself in Chinese culture and language.
