Adam Rose is from Brighton, England. He has a Master’s degree in Chinese studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) University of London. He also holds degrees in politics and philosophy and a CELTA teaching qualification. Prior to coming to China, he worked at the University of London in roles focused on improving the student experience of university. Before joining BNU in 2017 he taught English at the University of Science and Technology Beijing for three years. In his spare time, he pursues his interests in Chinese history and culture as well as enjoying hiking, swimming, travel and improving his Chinese language skills.
